Last Friday, members of the VCS Radio Symphony set out to give Christmas concerts to those who aren't able to get out on their own. setting up and packing up and transporting equipment and 40 student musicians from place to place is quite a task, but these great kids have it down to a science! It's always one of my favorite projects each year. We love the audiences and their hospitality. I love how professional and motivated the kids are to put on a great show!
On Saturday they finished their tour with two live concerts at Solano Mall with huge cheering audiences and even a rather energetic impromptu interpretive dance from a passer by.
Christmas is alive and well today -- Praise God!!!
